Soul Bowl - A Unique Take on Soul Food

Soul Bowl is one of my favorite black owned fast food restaurants in Minneapolis. They offer a unique twist on traditional southern style food.

My go to is the FUBU Chicken and Waffles but we also love to build our own bowls, which normally consist of Fried Chicken, Macaroni, and either Collard greens or rice. I just love the unique flavored corn bread on the side with Lavender honey butter drizzled on top. Delicious!

The macaroni is highly seasoned and so are the collard greens. Soul Bowl likes to switch things up a bit when the seasons change and offer a new menu. So keep that in mind.

I was really sad when they closed their Richfield location, but happy to learn of their new Minneapolis restaurants, C.R.E.A.M. Café, and Klassics.

Soul Bowl is located in Graze Provisions 2nd floor

520 N. 4th St. Downtown Mpls.
